Apogee Electronic Services, Inc. was established in January of 1991 as a third party service organization providing repair services on financial systems and personal computer systems to national organizations that could not just justify the placement of a full time technician in the northwest Florida and southern Alabama areas. Established in 1991, Apogee is a Pensacola, Florida based company with national accounts in military, educational, government and corporate business sectors.

As a third party service contractor, Apogee provided on-site maintenance services to Banctec, a leading manufacturer of check processing systems. As a supplier of computer hardware components, software, peripherals, supplies and accessories the next logical step was to manufacture their own brand of personal computer. Their reputation for quality systems and timely service spread quickly throughout NAS Pensacola.
